We have a professional design team to assist you in planning for and making your outdoor living space a reality. Our estimators will listen to your ideas and needs, design a plan to complement your site and implement the construction and maintenance of that design for your enjoyment.

James Theisen

James Theisen is an experienced professional landscape designer bringing endless creativity to residential landscapes. He is a graduate from Pennsylvania College of Technology with a degree in Landscape and Nursery Technology. James has spent over 8 years in the industry, 6 of which have been working in landscape design.

His expertise is in natural landscaping, woodland gardens, and re-landscapes. You won’t find any ‘cookie cutter’ designs from James. Each individual design has its own interest and flare. Natural boulders, garden steppers, boulder steps, and PA fieldstone, flagstone, and brick are all popular materials used in his landscape designs. Boulders are worked into mounded beds to accent specimen plant material and to add multi-level landscaping.

James’s use of a vast variety of plant material gives year round interest to the client’s desires. The colorful mix of blooms, foliage, fall color, berries, and stem color will make your property a show case any time of year. Fragrances are also used wisely around patios, decks, and other outdoor living spaces.

He will pay close attention to your needs and ask you many questions about your likes and dislikes so his designs are exactly what you’re looking for. He can quickly give you alternative options and plant material that will better suit your property if you have some ideas of your own that may not work. Everything has a purpose in his designs and choosing the right plant for each specific location is essential in achieving that low maintenance landscape everyone wants.

James’s ability to create and install the majority of what he designs, gives him an edge when it comes to making sure every design comes together as you both have planned. Having these skills allows him to give detailed explanations of his designs so you have the best understanding of the work to be completed.
